Music
& Imagery

What happens when you pair music with images and videos that were never meant to be together? The app searches songs on Deezer, plays them through Spotify, and pulls timed lyrics from LRCLIB. Each line becomes one word, which fetches photos and clips from Pexels and Unsplash. The screen swaps those images on the beat so they stay in sync with the song. Built with Claude and Cursor. Works best on desktop.

Dining Table
& Bench

Built with white oak. I experimented with castle joints for the first time. They’re imperfect, but functional. 7 of 10 satisfied with the finish. It provides a place for our family to spend time together, so in that sense it’s perfect.

Finished light oak dining table with a matching bench, set on a patterned rug in a dining room

Unfinished table leg in the workshop, with a slot cut into the top to receive the frame

Record
Cabinet

Built with plywood. The speakers and receiver are enclosed within the unit. 8 of 10 satisfied with the finish. I wanted to use a heavy Baltic birch ply, but didn’t know where to get it at the time. I do now… so maybe I’ll rebuild this at some point…

Unfinished plywood cabinet carcass in the workshop, before doors and speakers were added

Stools

A few stools made using various methods. The first with walnut and the second set with poplar. Both were fun to make but none are particularly good for sitting on. Would love to experiment more with different shapes and materials.
